MOBILE  DIAGNOSTIC EYECARE
                              WELCOME!

Since one of the best places in which to have health care is in your own home, DIAGNOSTIC EYECARE takes home health care one step further to include Mobile Eyecare Services, MOBILE DIAGNOSTIC EYECARE (MDE).
One of the greatest gifts that we have is our vision and maintaining that vision is imperative. When a person is confined from illness there may be several reasons that make it impossible to transport your loved one to an outside vision care clinic to correct problems with vision. DIAGNOSTIC EYECARE incorporated MOBILE DIAGNOSTIC EYECARE (MDE).        We come to your place of residence!

Read what one of our patients think about "MDE"
Mature Man Mature Lady  I called MDE! My wife was unable to get to a eye care clinic due to a fall, and had broke her eyeglasses. They came right out, performed a very thorough eye examination, which in-turn found a disease and is treating her for that, prescribed new prescription eyeglasses and dispensed to her when they were complete. "Much better than going into a eye care clinic (which would of been hard on my wife), an they took care of all the insurance billing".  Thanks MDE
MOBILE DIAGNOSTIC EYECARE (MDE), services nursing homes and home care patients. couple_elderlylove.jpg We believe these people are patients just like anyone, no matter what place they reside or regard to race, age, sex, color, creed, national origin, or handicap. Everyone is entitled to better vision.
One disturbing trend noted in recent years has been an increased tendency in our society to overlook or neglect the vision correction needs of elderly citizens, including those living in nursing homes. As an example, researchers say almost one third of older Americans diagnosed with glaucoma receive no treatment for this potentially blinding eye disease.

Consequences of delaying vision correction or needed treatment, especially in elderly people, can be severe. Uncorrected vision problems can contribute to falls that seriously injure elderly people and greatly reduce their confidence in their ability to live independently. In the August 2005 Journal of Neurological Clinics reported that at least 30% of older individuals fall at least once annually. Of those who fall, 10% experience a fracture or other serious injury. In fact, falling and related injuries are directly responsible for 40% of admissions to nursing homes.
